# Week 9
During this week, the team focused on polishing up the game after receiving valuable feedback from our Alpha presentation and playtesting sessions. The things our team considered consist of having more links to flying speed/how much control you have to the character, modifiying the camera behaviours and building a more effective UI that allows the players to get a better understanding of the game mechanics and controls through tutorials or on-screen instructions. Another mechanic that we are looking to implement in preparation for the Beta Code is score tracking. We have yet to decide how the player’s number of deaths or time spent to complete each level will affect their score. Through further playtesting, we will also discuss if there should be a limit on the maximum number of deaths before the player actually loses the game.
A suggestion that was brought up after our Alpha code presentation was including a fly swatter racquet because it might be a better representation than the hands appearing randomly from different sides. Although we haven't shown our hand-closing animation in our Alpha code, the visuals would have been a much bigger threat rather than having the arms static. I went on to 3D model a fly swatter racquet and attached it to the arm model so that the developers can play around with it to see if they propose the same or new challenges to the game itself.
