# Week 8
During this week, our team worked hard on the upcoming Alpha Code assignment and presentation. So far, our game consists of 4 enemies/obstacles (arm, drone, fence, bug zapper lamp), one level and a shell menu, which are sufficient for our playtesting sessions. After conducting them, we went ahead and synthesized the results and feedback we have gotten from our playtests. From that point, we made necessary changes to our second protoype before our submission.
My tasks this week were to finish modelling and/or animating all the enemies that our team has discussed in our game proposal. However, we made slight adjustments to the type of enemies that we wanted to include so that there is a variety of enemy behaviours, which allows the players to strategize different ways to approach the level. For instance, we talked about having a fence with a hole in it, so that the player Moth must fly through the hole in order to proceed onwards. After finalizing our enemies, I went ahead and modelled the remaining enemies e.g. drone, fence. I decided to make them simple so that they match our distopian aesthetic that we are going for. Moreover, I have animated the drone propellers to give it a realistic feel to the game.

From here onwards, my main job will be enhancing the visual fidelity of assets and adding more enemies if needed. This will address some concerns that were brought up during the playtesting sessions so building upon that will eventually become quality of life improvements for the player to have an easier time grasping the concept and the mechanics presented in the game.
