# Week 12

During this hectic week, the developers, Justin and Josh, and level designer, Sandy, worked extremely hard right until the submission deadline to fix any last minute issues and most importantly, perfecting the game to the best of their abilities for our final showcase, which features judges and award certificates for the top 3 games in the course.

After the final showcase was over, we were ecstatic that our game came in second place because we all know that everyone have worked very hard on this game from the beginning till the end. Since the videos submission is coming up in the next 2 days, I started working on them straightaway as the video editor in the team so that I have time to show the drafts to my team members for their feedback and suggestions and revise them before handing them in. Before I began working on the game trailer, I decided to look at existing game trailers online such as our precedent "Flower" by thatgamecompany to get some inspirations in terms of pacing, length, and how much non-playable gameplay I should include. Then, I went onto Unity to screen-record our game. I played around with the camera positions of the Moth to provide different perspectives of it flying through obstacles. The main message our team wanted to bring up is our resurrection mechanic through the phrase, "Failure is not the end. Death is just the beginning." This is why towards the end of the video, I the moth flies into the hand, which results in a death in our game. The player will soon realize that the Moth will respawn back at the starting point with a ghost moth renacting the same movement from their previous run.

In terms of the Game Walk-through video, my team members were able to help me with the narration and voice overs while I worked on piecing them together with the gameplay features. It was a fairly straightfoward process because we knew the important features we have to mention in our video since we have explained them multiple of times during our presentation demos.
